Yoga in Philly, A Few of Our Faves

Philadelphia is busting at the seams with fitness and yoga studios.  I’m happy to see that there’s not a yoga studio on every corner….just yet, but there are plenty to choose from.  The city yoga studios tend to be very neighborhood-centric as most students will walk, but there are those that work close by, and those that will journey for a special class, teacher or workshop.  So knowing what’s available is a start to find your place.

Here are just a few on our radar for you to consider:

Sanctuary Yoga & Mindfulness

The Studio: Located in the heart of Center City. This studio is bright and busy. Sanctuary offers alignment-based trainings, special workshops and classes with a strong emphasis on mindfulness.

The Owner:  Kilkenny Tremblay was born and raised in the yoga world. She’s been studying yoga for 32+ years! Her husband, Jeremy, has a chiropractic office next door so you may see his friendly face around the studio as well.
