Find Your Middle Ground Winter Yin Workshop with Val Boyko

Join Val for a special two-hour online workshop that brings together compassionate mindfulness, self-inquiry, and yin yoga. Winter is the most Yin season of the year. Everything appears still, cold, quiet, and lifeless, but appearances are deceptive. Life is hidden underground and is being deeply nourished by water. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Water element is associated with the season of Winter. The inner quality of Water is its adaptability, endurance, and the strength of its reserves.

In this Winter Yin Workshop you will:
• Pause, reflect, and journal; honoring where you are and listening inwards for your own intuitive guidance.
• Practice Yin Yoga postures that open up the Kidney and Bladder energy channels in this season where water flow, adaptability, and reserves are so important.
• Counteract your more active (yang) yoga practices by honing in on the connective tissue, bones, and joints.
• Use mindfulness and yogic breathing to bring new awareness and deepen your experience.
