30 Hour- Yoga for Emotional Support (Y4ES) Teacher Training

Anxiety, depression, grief, loss and trauma creates stress in many lives making it difficult to function and find peace and happiness.
If you are a 200 hour registered yoga teacher interested in sharing your time, talents and care for others, then the Y4ES Teacher Training course is for you. The purpose of Y4ES is to help people find health, peace and happiness in their lives when faced with life difficulties. This is accomplished through a unique program that uses restorative and gentle Yoga postures, meditation, mindfulness, sound and aromatherapy, healing messages, energy exercises, affirmations and more.

As a teacher of Y4ES Classes, you will provide the participants a safe space to relax and let go. Through the class you will provide messages of self-care and nurturing with the use of numerous proven tools. You will facilitate in helping the students to feel empowered to take care of themselves when faced with difficult emotional situations.
Learn the class format including guidelines, transitions, and rituals

*Learn the importance of skilled listening and empathy
*Practice mindfulness techniques designed specifically for this demographic
*Learn restorative yoga postures and their benefits
*Learn and use specific guided breathing techniques, meditation and visualization
*Work with essential oils to learn which are best for which emotions and situations
*Offer mantras with positive messages of self care to help students drop their old stories and create new ones for self love and thriving in life
*Learn to guide a class through themed Yoga classes for a variety of emotional needs {Energizing -to help with depression, Heart Opening -for kindness,Relaxation – for relieving
anxiety and stress, Clarity -for concentration and focus Breathing – for calming the mind and body and for everyday stresses}
*Learn to assist and support the students to work towards healthier relationships with themselves and their loved ones
*Teach tools and strategies to empower participants to thrive in life

October 25 & 26 / November 8 & 9 (tentative dates)

Saturday, October 26 8:00am-6:00pm
Friday, November 8 4:30pm-9:30pm
Saturday, November 9 8:00am-6:00pm

$650 per person ($550 if register paid by August 31)
