The Shavasana Course

Discover the power of doing nothing – and how you can get more by doing less.

Perfect your Shavasana in this 6-evening course, each one featuring an hour-long guided Shavasana.  Every evening features different directions, taking you deeper within yourself, for illuminative insights and profound physical changes.

After each Shavasana, you get to share your descriptions in the group discussion.  Hear what is happening for everyone else as well, while you learn from a Swami’s explanations of the significance of what is blossoming within.

Your evening actually begins with yoga-lite, a few easy poses to make you more comfortable.  Then your guided Shavasana begins.  Afterward comes the discussion as well as a seated meditation, to help you explore the same inner dimensions more consciously.  Meditation instructions are included every day.

You get more physical changes in these long Shavasanas than from doing other poses.  It’s amazingly powerful, yet deceptively easy.  Sometimes it’s hard to do nothing, and to let the tensions and anxieties simply dissolve.  That’s why we guide you each step of the way.  The whole point is to make the openings and clearings easier, a specialty of Svaroopa® Yoga.
