Introduction to Pranayama 1

Whether you are new incorporating breath work into your practice or not this workshop will introduce you to or reacquaint you with the foundations of pranayama. Covered in Pranayama 1 will be background and basic philosophy of pranayama, why we use pranayama to accompany yoga and meditation, and 3-4 basic pranayama techniques. The class will end with asanas that integrate the studied breathing techniques. After Pranayama 1 the yogi should feel confident with the practice of basic pranayama during their yoga and meditation practices.

Saturday, 10/6 @ 11:30-1:30pm
$25 Members/ $30 Non-members

There will also be a Pranayama 2 on Saturday 11/17!
