Intro to Lovingkindness Meditation is a live-streamed Donation Workshop with Kathy Donnelly

This is a Fundraiser for VOLAR – Village of Love & Resistance
Lovingkindness meditation, also known as Metta Meditation, is an easy to learn concentration meditation that invites us first to remember our own goodness and then to extend our best wishes toward others. This practice strengthens our natural qualities of kindness and compassion.
The classic phrases are:
May I be safe
May I be happy
May I be healthy
May I find ease and peace
We will focus on these classic phrases and ways
to expand them. In this workshop we will cover the history and
roots of metta, how, when and why to practice, and be guided through the practice.
Kathy Donnelly, E-RYT500, is the Director and Owner of the Yoga Center of Columbia and has been teaching since 1999. Kathy’s teaching style is welcoming, nurturing and encourages transformation from the inside out.
