IN STUDIO Yin Yoga – Transition into Summer with Balance

June 19 @ 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM


Join Mallory in studio for a 90-minute practice that is gentle yet challenging due to subtle, alignment-focused floor poses held for several breaths and up to 10 minutes.

A cooling practice, yin yoga gives you the opportunity to pay close attention to the fluctuations of the breath, improve mental clarity and passively focus on the body’s deep connective tissues. Yin is an excellent complement to a more strenuous practice and may appear “easy;” however, the challenge remains in the cultivation of stillness. This is not a practice of simply letting go but a way to be present with your body, emotions, mind, and spirit; then releasing what does not serve you. Yin enhances range of motion and calms the nervous system, helping restore balance in body and mind.

What to bring:
blanket or fluffy towel
at least 1 block, 2 preferred

The room will not be 70-75 degrees. This practice is not recommended during pregnancy.
