Dive into a life-changing course of study to deepen your understanding of the yoga tradition, and your own personal yoga practice. Drawing from ancient yoga theory and modern knowledge of the body and mind, this program covers the complete scope of yoga practice: yamas and niyamas (lifestyle guidelines), asana (postures), pranayama (breath training), pratyahara (sense withdrawal), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (self-realization). Our exceptional and dedicated teaching team comes from diverse backgrounds and offers over 100 years of combined experience in the practice and teaching of yoga.

This program draws from traditional yoga theory and modern knowledge of the body and mind to cover the complete scope of yoga. Overview and history of yoga tradition

Participants who complete the program receive Yoga Teacher Certification from the Himalayan Institute Teachers Association (HITA) and are also eligible to apply for the 200-hour level of registration (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. Certification requirements include: full attendance in the training intensive, required reading, knowledge assessments, and two written assignments to be completed after the training intensive: a 30-day meditation journal and a teaching self-evaluation of 12 hours taught. Most participants complete their certification requirements in six months to one year. All participants must complete certification requirements within two years in order to receive certification.

this training is a blend of in person and online instruction. we believe that inspired teaching comes from your personal practice. whether you take this training to teach or for yourself, the philosophy and techniques are best distilled over a period of time. we will meet over this coming year with a blend of in person and online instruction.

The total program cost is $2,999 which includes your non-refundable application fee of $108.
