VIRTUAL Prenatal Partners Massage: Prepare for Labor & Delivery

This popular workshop is for all pregnant women and their partners and is meant to empower you both with practical knowledge about birth. All participants will be able to interact with the instructor on ZOOM from the comfort of their own homes.

Join Sara VanderGoot, co-founder of Mind the Mat, Prenatal & Post-pregnancy Yoga Instructor, Doula, and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist to learn about what to expect during each stage of labor and how to manage discomfort. She will teach you what she does as a doula when she assists births!

Partners will learn and practice hands on techniques and you will both leave class feeling well equipped and knowledgable about labor, delivery and how to navigate both successfully.

During this workshop you and your partner will learn:
Stages of labor and what to expect during labor and delivery
Important choices you get to make about your experience and your baby’s experience
Helpful practices to prepare for optimal labor, delivery and recovery that you can start now!
Massage techniques to relieve discomfort in your neck, shoulders, back and hips now and during labor
Acupressure/birth/labor points on your body
Breath techniques
Labor postures
Other important comfort measures to facilitate a healthy labor & delivery
No experience necessary. Wear comfortable yoga clothes and have plenty of water to drink on hand. All you need is a place on the floor in your home, a yoga mat, two blankets and two pillows.

$50.00 per couple (only one partner in your pair needs to register). Members receive 15% off.
