4 Week Semi-Private class. 8 students maximum

Back Pain got you down? You are not alone. 80% of Americans are going to experience lower back pain at some point in their lives. It is one of the most common causes of disability. There are a variety of causes but there is no “one size fits all” solution.

Yoga can offer the self-care tools needed to relieve lower back discomfort and this semi-private series offers an ideal modality to connect with the self, befriend the pain and develop attntion and awareness.

This series isn’t intended to replace a physicians diagnosis and recommendations, but to support your personal journey with additional perspectives through a yogic lens.

Week 1 – Checking in – Common back issues, Breath and Gentle yoga practice
Week 2 – Simple self-assessment/adjustments, Breath and Gentle Yoga practice
Week 3 – Core strength for support, Breath and Gentle yoga practice
Week 4 – Functional movement to protect your back, Breath and Gentle yoga practice

Yuki Riley enjoys an active lifestyle as a yoga teacher and fitness instructor but has personally experienced and dealt with lower back issues. She looks forward to sharing her tools of the trade to help you gain better movement, more strength and optimal comfort.
