While pregnancy is often filled with excitement and happiness, it can also bring physical discomforts and anxiety about your upcoming labor and delivery.

Be inspired and empowered as you and your partner learn practical techniques for navigating your
amazing, yet sometimes challenging, journey to motherhood!

This hands-on workshop teaches various comfort measures typically not covered in hospital classes. You will also practice
modifying the techniques as your labor progresses for maximum benefit. Unmedicated, medicated, and C-section deliveries will be discussed and you will
receive a complete packet of all the information including positioning options for labor and birth.

You will learn:
Yoga postures to alleviate common discomforts like back and hip pain, leg cramps, and sciatica
Breath and relaxation practices for pregnancy, labor, and life as a mom
Massage techniques for pain relief through pregnancy and all stages labor and delivery
Ways to increase confidence as your due date approaches
Tips from the experts on improving your birth
Exercises to help with postpartum recovery
Practical suggestions for successful breastfeeding

Darlene Bergener, E-RYT500, RPYT, LMT, CPMT, CD(DONA) completed her 500hr training through the
Himalayan Institute in traditional Hatha Yoga and holds an additional 200hr certification in prenatal & postnatal yoga through Colette Crawford of the Seattle Holistic Center. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, specializing in Myofascial Release, prenatal, postnatal & pediatric massage, and is a Certified Birth Doula though DONA International. Darlene began her journey in 1998 during her 12 year career as a mechanical engineer, turning to yoga to maintain her health and well-being. After experiencing the profound benefits for herself, she is honored to share it with others. With a strong knowledge of anatomy and a sense of humor, Darlene encourages students to have fun while maximizing their physical, mental, and
