Yoga Fundamentals: 6-Week Series

Have you always wanted to practice yoga but didn’t know where to start?

If you have been intimidated by yoga, are a beginner, or want to take your practice to the next level, this series is for you. Designed to teach you the fundamentals of vinyasa yoga practice this beginners level series breaks down the basics of a vinyasa flow style yoga – providing both information and knowledge about developing your yoga practice.
During the six weeks you will cover different topics that will teach you the poses of yoga, related aspects of yoga, and will also give you a deeper understanding of your body than you will learn from just going to classes.

Topics include:

Proper breathing
Sun salutations
Standing poses
Use of props
Intro to some of the “trick” poses that are commonly seen
After you finish the last class, you will be ready to attend any beginner or intermediate yoga class. You will leave feeling stronger and more confident in yourself and your abilities.

This enrollment is for VIRTUAL participation via ZOOM in this series. All participants will be able to see each other and the instructor and interact from the comfort of their own homes. A recording of each session will be available to those registered for the entirety of the series.

Please note series policy:

This is a 6-week specialized series.
Series are separate from class packages.
No drop-ins permitted, to participate you must register for full series.
One make up available, please talk to your instructor if you need to make up a class.
No refunds, studio credit possible if series cancelled 24 hours before start of first class.
